Founded in October 2024 by Atty. Kariz Elizabeth A. Teh, the firm was born from a place of quiet courage and personal conviction: that justice should always be within reach, and that legal service can be both excellent and compassionate. After years of working in corporate operations and client success, both locally and internationally, Atty. Teh understood that legal service isn’t just about paperwork or procedure—it’s about people. And the best way to help people is with a balance of expertise, empathy, and integrity. That experience shaped her view of what the legal profession ought to be: not just reactive, but responsive; not just strategic, but sincere.

Atty. Teh graduated with honors from grade school all the way through law school—not for recognition, but out of quiet discipline and a desire to do right by the people who believed in her. In law school, Atty. Teh remained grounded in her values while embracing every opportunity to learn and lead. She became an active member of the debate and moot team of her school, competing both locally and abroad. She also served consistently in the Bar Operations Committee, and later became its Chairperson. Her legal journey has been guided by mentors who helped sharpen her knowledge and deepen her values: from a former Secretary of Justice of the Philippines, a former Commissioner of the National Privacy Commission, and officials from the Office of the Solicitor General, to the Heads of Legal and Compliance of some of the country’s most respected banks and financial institutions. These mentors didn’t just sharpen her legal mind—they shaped her character, her sense of duty, and her belief in doing what’s right, even when no one is watching.

Her commitment to service and leadership has been quietly but meaningfully recognized. She was honored by her law school, the Association of Law Students of the Philippines (ALSP), and even international organizations for her consistent efforts to lead with compassion, advocate for others, and uplift her peers. These recognitions were never the goal—but they stand as a reflection of the values she carries: to lead with integrity, to serve with heart, and to show up when it matters most.

In a world where the law can sometimes feel cold, Atty. Teh chose to build something different.

“I started TEH LAW OFFICE not just to practice law, but to lead with heart. Because sometimes, in this profession, you’re taught to turn off your feelings in order to think clearly. It’s easy to become detached, to treat everything like just another file. But that’s not who I am. I believe clarity and compassion can exist together. I still believe that justice must be personal, and that it should always come with a sense of hope. That’s the kind of lawyer I want to be, and that’s the kind of firm I want to grow.”

We serve a diverse range of clients—from individuals and families, to Filipino professionals overseas, to foreign nationals and global businesses—with the same level of care, clarity, and commitment.
